Lockwoods Customer Guarantee

Lockwoodsflorists [www.lockwoodsflorists.co.uk & .com] offer a no-quibble guarantee on all purchases, both in-store, on-line and via phone orders. This is a full product replacement or money refund guarantee, which does not effect your statutory rights as a consumer in any way. This is valid across Europe & the world through our partnership with Interflora.

Every order carries our full replacement guarantee in respect of quality and value. We guarantee delivery to the address specified on the day specified (except in respect of posted orders)but we do not guarantee delivery to the specific recipient.

We operate a 7 days returns timescale, in line with The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 for non-perishable products [eg: bears]. These products can only be returned within the seven days if they are in a `as new` condition, and if sent out back to us sealed to a satisfactory condition. The seven days starts the day after the goods are received by you, the Consumer, and under this legislation you are only required to pay the cost of returning the goods if you exercise this right to cancel.

Terms of Business

This is applicable for anybody who can view the website in any other country, and / or has contact with www.lockwoodsflorists.co.uk & .com by any other means of communication such as electronic mail, fax or post, without necessarily having viewed the website [www.lockwoodsflorists.co.uk & .com].

2. All prices quoted are excluding any local/UK delivery or Interflora transmission charges, which will be added to the total once the order has been placed on-line.

3. Lockwoods Florists will endeavour to deliver gifts in an AM or PM period, but cannot guarantee set delivery times.

Deliveries are made Monday to Saturday only. We are sorry but Sunday deliveries are not possible - orders received for Sunday delivery will be executed as soon as possible on the Monday.

4. Lockwoods Florists will deliver through the network of interflora agents worldwide, but cannot be held responsible for any delay in delivery of any supplying agent due to curcumstances beyond their control.

5. Security - the on-line store is built around Actinic software and uses 128 bit java based encryption. The person responsible for security is Tom Sleight. More information on Actinic security can be found at www.actinic.co.uk

6. Privacy - Lockwoods florists are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and according to the Which? Web Trader Code of Conduct. We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. We will not pass your e-mail address to any other trusted traders.

The type of information we will collect about you includes:
- your name
- address
- phone number
- email address
- credit/debit card details

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law and the Which? Web Trader Code.

Any information given is used only in conjunction with the order being placed. We never discolse any information to third parties. We do not send marketing material as a result of information gained whilst a customer is placing an order. All information given is treated as strictly confidential.

We use technology to enable on-line ordering & to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This includes using a `cookie` which would be stored on your browser. 7. Customer service - customer service lines are open from 9.00 am to 5.00 p.m. Monday to Saturday. Any of our telephone numbers can be used.

8. Complaints - we endeavour to solve all complaints and queries within 2 working days unless a third party is involved (i.e. interflora overseas order) in which case this may take up to 5 working days.

9. Cancellations - We are able to cancel orders up to 24 hrs prior to delivery. If less than 24 hours notice of cancellation is given (short notice) we may be able to cancel without charge but we reserve the right to make an admin charge if we incur costs due to the cancellation. This applies to short notice only.
